The Life of the Counselor

Posted on Sun Dec 5th, 2010 @ 6:55pm by Lieutenant Commander Deanna King

Mission: Flawed. Season 2, Episode 3

Deanna was thinking about Mason and Lam. They both worried her. They both had their issues. One can be easily fixed and the other, not so. Deanna knew that there would be some work with Mason, but she had faith that she could help her though her problems. Lam on the other hand; she was not so sure about. It was her job to make sure everyone was fit for duty. Lam didn’t make her job easy at all. At this point, Deanna didn’t want to be in the same room as Lam.

As a rule Deanna was an even tempered person like most of her siblings, but there is always someone who just hit that breaking point. Being a counselor is a lonely job at times especially when there are officers who just refuse to talk to her.

These days seem so lonely for Deanna. Growing up, she was surrounded by all her siblings. She was never alone. She had her twin sister and then you got her younger siblings that they had to watch and then she had her older brothers whom loved to terrorize her and the rest of her sisters. It was never a dull moment growing up. There was always something to do. Even when she went to the academy, she had her twin by her side helping her with her studies.
