Travel Plans - Part II

Posted on Fri Aug 11th, 2017 @ 9:32pm by Ambassador Telhas thu'S'Terion Duke of Cheleb-Khor

Mission: Trouble on the frontier
Location: Romulan Embassy

The next morning after his talk with Colonel Korak, Telhas decided to put his travel plans into action. First of all he called his Head of Security into his office.

"Mylord, you wanted to talk with me?" Maiek tr'Sahen said as he entered the office.

"Indeed," Telhas said to the elder Romulan, "Please contact the Ket-Cheleb and tell her Commander to pick me up. Also, make sure that he has a company of my personal guards on board."

"Of course, Mylord."

"And Maiek, please inform the maiordomo on Rator III that she shall prepare everything for my arrival in a few weeks."

"Mylord," Maiek had a concerned look, "Are you sure it is safe for you travelling to the capital?"

Telhas grinned. "No, but I think that I can handle the risk."

"If you say so. Shall I also inform your rianov?"

Telhas nodded. His swordmaster as commander of the guards should definitely be informed. "Of course. This is all, Maiek."

"Mylord." Maiek bowed and left the office.

The next one who entered the office was his diplomatic attaché, Eviess t'Rrahlem.

"Senator, you wanted to see me?" asked the young Romulan woman.

"Yes," Telhas replied, "I need you to get me an appointment with Chairwoman Sonara T'Daran."

It took a moment before Eviess was able to say something. "I... I am not sure if this is a good idea. You have quite a history with the Tal Shiar."

"No need to tell me," Telhas said calmly, "Which is exactly the reason why I want this appointment. The past needs to be settled. It is time for the future. I suggest you ask your grandfather for advice. As Tal Shiar Judge he should be able to support you. Can you handle this?"

Eviess nodded slowly. "I think so. thank you for the challenge."

"You are one of the brightest minds I know. You will succeed." Telhas reassured her.

"Thank you, Sir."

"Anything from your side?" He inquired.

"No, Sir," she replied.

"This is all then."

"Yes, Sir." Eviess inclined her head and left the room.
