Mission: Echoes of the Damned: Pilot Episode.

Mike had just walked out of sickbay, his back aching slightly from his collision with the wall. He thought for a second about Kristina, the very fact that she didn't even seem grateful for being beamed into sickbay when she burnt her hands made him fell like punching the wall, it made him feel like crying, something he had been doing a lot of recently with the death of the CO, avoiding another short spell of depression he held back his tears in the turbolift. He gave a soft chuckle to cheer himself up and then thought of a saying that he heard when he was a child
"There is no I in team, but team is an anagram for meat and meat can be associated with pies and hence you have an I." he closely linked that to Kristina, 'the one person team'.
As the turbolift came to a halt on the bridge, he took in a breath and stepped out, looking down to the ops station he saw his assistant chief, Partners working away, sneaking across the back of the bridge he took an aft station and started working on the sensors again, his all time favorite hobby. Realizing something, He sighed "What the hell am I doing this for? the sensors are at optimal efficiency... augh... stuff it." he said quietly before slapped the padded lower section of the aft station "Stupid ass of a thing." he muttered.
Feeling compelled to do something else, he looked around the bridge, there was nothing to do at ops, just sit there and look busy, there was nothing to do at the aft stations, he looked at the aft engineering console "Uh huh, engineering... lets go an visit Podi." he muttered again. He rose from his seat and pushed it in and sneaked off the bridge in the same fashion as before.

To Be Continued...
